Description:

One of the original manuscripts of Tam O' Shanter, written in Burns' own hand.  Tam O'Shanter was composed by Robert Burns, in 1790, for his friend Francis Grose to be included in his publication 'Antiquities of Scotland (vol.2)' to accompany an engraving of Alloway Kirk.
