- Example of a Sanquhar pattern glove in red and green wool to illustrate the "Rose" design. This is one of several variations on the Duke design known as 'squares'. The design was named in 1930 after the birth of Princess Margaret Rose. The glove has the initials "JCB" knitted into the wristband.
