Thomas McEwan was a Scottish Glasgow born painter who is known for his domestic scenes. McEwan painted in both oils and watercolour.

 

McEwan is known to have used his family members as models for his paintings, and he was particularly keen in capturing a range of generations in his work with animals in the foreground.
