Peter MacGregor Wilson was a Scottish artist known for his landscapes and river scenes. MacGregor Wilson studied at the Glasgow School of Art, followed by studies in London and Antwerp. He travelled extensively, working in America, Persia, India, Russia, as well as across Europe. During his career, he exhibited in Scotland at The Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts, the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolours, and in England at the Royal Academy of Arts in London and the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool
