Bust of John Wilson aka Christopher North

Bust of John Wilson (1785-1854), a Scottish writer and literary critic who is most frequently identified by the pseudonym Christopher North in Blackwood's Edinburgh Magazine.   Bust is Parian ware, a type of unglazed porcelain that imitates the appearance of marble and is modelled from a bust by Scottish sculptor James Fillans.
