Japonisme jug

Description:

Ceramic jug made by Glasgow-based manufacturers J. & M. P. Bell & Co. that produced ceramic wares from c. 1842-1928. Features a fruit bowl, with vase and flowers in the foreground. Part of 'Jeddo' line, named after the 18th century name for Edo which was the former name for Tokyo, Japan.
