Stained Glass Windows, St. John’s Parish Church, Wanlockhead

Description:
The windows are dedicated to various members of the Hastie family and were commissioned by the Rev. John Hastie. The window to the left, which depicts Christ teaching, is dedicated “To the Glory of God and in memory of my father James Hastie and mother Christine Hastie.” The window on the right, depicting Jesus with a lamb, is “ to the Glory of God and in memory of my brother William Hastie D.D., Professor of Divinity in the University of Glasgow“. The middle window, depicting Christ rising from the dead, is “Erected by John Hastie L.L.B. 1911.”
