Dunure Castle

Cameron developed a unique uncluttered style of painting which emphasised the grandeur of the Scottish landscape.    The unusual width of this canvas and the almost unbroken line of the sea give a strong sense of the open expanse of water against which the ruins of Dunure Castle seem quite small.
