Hat Trick!

Deerstalker

Description:

A Deerstalker, worn by a retired gamekeeper, Cowhill Estate, Dumfries. The most famous wearer of this kind of hat is the fictional character Sherlock Holmes.  However, Arthur Conan Doyle never actually wrote that Holmes wore a deerstalker, although he does have Doctor Watson describe him wearing "his ear-flapped travelling cap".
