Kilmarnock FC Through the Years

Kilmarnock FC mug with old club badge

This club badge is no longer used today. The modernised badge features a ball bearing a hand in a blessing position, flanked by two red squirrels. The club's Latin motto, 'confidemus' ('we trust'), is written above the badge (similar to the Boyd's heraldic motto, 'confido' ('I trust')). The club adopted the badge in 1993 after The Lord Lyon decreed that the previous badge, based heavily upon the town crest, was in breach of ancient Scottish heraldic rules.
