Prince George V

The Prince of Wales, George V, born George Frederick Ernest Albert was born on the 3rd of June 1865. He is the second son of Albert Edward and the grandson of Queen Victoria. He was third in line to the throne after his brother and his father, and then when his brother passed away in 1892 George was second in line to the throne. He served in the Royal Army from 1877 till 1891, and his reign started in 1910 with the death of his father. During his rule there was a rise of socialism, communism, fascism, Irish republicanism, and the Indian independence movement. In 1917 as a result of anti-German public sentiment he renamed his house from Saxe-Coburg and Gotha to House of Windsor.
