The Duchess of Hamilton

The Duchess of Hamilton, believed to be Nina Mary Benita Douglas- Hamilton, was born 13th of May, 1878 in Salisbury. She's the daughter of Major Robert Poore and Juliana Benita Lowry-Corry. She married Alfred Douglas- Hamilton on 4th of December 1901 and had 7 children, 4 boys and 3 girls. In 1903 she co-founded the Animal Defence and Anti- Vivisection Society, an animal sanctuary.
