War Service Medal

Medal issued to men and women from Stranraer who had served in the First World War.   The circular medal has the legend PRESENTED BY STRANRAER TOWN COUNCIL FOR SERVICE GREAT WAR 1914-1918 around an image of the burgh crest.  The obverse has the legend HONOUR TO WHOM HONOUR IS DUE.
