Gift Box sent to every British and Empire serviceman at Christmas 1914

The gift was suggested by Princess Mary, the 17-year-old daughter of George V and Queen Mary. The tin box contained tobacco, confectionery, pencils, a Christmas card and a photograph of the Princess.
