Kinhilt Dairy milk bottle

Kinhilt was a farm dairy at Lochans, near Stranraer.  They provided a delivery service in Stranraer and supplied the schools with milk bottled in 1/3 pints.  Kinhilt Dairy had an outlet shop for their dairy produce in Hanover Street, Stranraer.  Stranraer Dairies took over the business in 1946 until the 1970s.   This half pint milk bottle bears the moulded inscription "Finest dairy produce, Kinhilt Dairy, Stranraer, Phone Stranraer 257, Lochans 35.  Please rinse and return".
