Nameplate from a churn or crate

Description:
Oval nameplate from a Scottish Co-operative Wholesale Society creamery churn or crate.  It is made of copper alloy and is stamped 'S.C.W.S. Ltd. Return to Stranraer'.  This nameplate was found on the beach at Ayr in 1996 and would have originated from the Sheuchan Creamery in Stranraer.
