Potato fork

Description:

By the early 20th century larger farms were harvesting potatoes with mechanical diggers.  Before that potatoes were lifted by large teams of people using potato forks.

 

The fork is multi-pronged and slightly scooped to assist lifting.  The prongs have rounded tips to avoid damaging the potatoes.
