Gold Rush

In the Mennock waters of Wanlockhead some of the gold that graces the mace of the Scottish parliament was panned. Scotland's gold is the finest, purest gold in the world and Charlie Smart pans for it wherever the water changes speed, from fast to sluggish, in the bend of a river or under a waterfall.
