Proclamation of Accession

In the United Kingdom, upon the death of a monarch, a ceremonial body assemble to make a formal proclamation of the accession of the successor to the throne. Traditionally, the proclamation is read out in several location across the four nations including big cities such as Edinburgh, London, Windsor, and York. The proclamation was also read out in much smaller towns too, often gathering large crowds.
