Description:
Scottish Women's Bowling Association uniform worn by Mrs E M Skeldon (1906-1992) of Portwilliam.  Mrs Skeldon was a bowls player of distinction who competed on the local, national and international circuits.  Her bowling achievements started in 1953 when she won the Scottish Women's Bowling Association District finals and she continued to compete until 1984.  Mrs Skeldon was a founder member of the Wigtownshire Women's Bowling Association.
