A partial copy, pages 1-26, of the Portpatrick Railway Company Act 1877.  This Act authorises the Portpatrick Railway Company to acquire the East Pier in the Burgh of Stranraer.  It details the terms of customs and carriage and gives a fascinating insight to cargoes of the time.  These include ale, bone dust, cattle, kelp, whalebone, stone, wood, leather, seed.  Passengers are included, with luggage, not exceeding a 4 barrel bulk.
