In 1869 William Bell Scott published his book "The Life and Works of Albert Durer". This and another print in the collection, "Albert Durer's House" are thought to be illustrations for the book.   Acquired with Assistance from the National Fund for Acquisitions administered with Government Funds by the National Museums of Scotland.
