Poems, Chiefly in the Scottish Dialect, by Robert Burns, in two volumes. Edinburgh: T. Cadell, London; William Creech, Edinburgh, 1793.  Second edition, considerably enlarged.

 

Binding: Light brown leather on board; tooled & gold decoration on covers and spine; title, date and volume number on the spine in gold; marbled end-papers; cream wove paper with yellow edging.


Marks: Embossed "Burns Monument Kilmarnock" on the title page. McKie private library numbers "27" & "28".

There are some corrections in pen throughout, probably by James McKie.
