Poems, Chiefly in the Scottish Dialect, by Robert Burns, in two volumes. Edinburgh: printed for T. Cadell, London and William Creech, Edinburgh, 1794. New edition, considerably enlarged.


Binding: Marbled paper and leather on board; simple tooled decoration on leather; title, volume, place and date on the spine in gold; plain end-papers; light-green, grubby wove paper with marbled edges.


Marks: Embossed "Burns Monument Kilmarnock", on the title page. McKie private library numbers "30" and "31".

Comment by James McKie: "A print of the 1793 ed - nothing to remark regarding. James M'Kie. This was the last ed published in Burns' lifetime. JM'Kie."
