Poems, Chiefly in the Scottish Dialect, by Robert Burns, in two volumes. Edinburgh: T. Cadell, jun. & W. Davies, London; William Creech, Edinburgh. 1797.New Edition, considerably enlarged.


Binding: Marbled paper and brown leather on board; simple tooled decoration on leather; title, volume, place and date in gold on the spine; plain laid end-papers; light-green, grubby, laid paper with marbled edges.


Marks: Embossed "Burns Monument Kilmarnock", on the title page. McKie private library numbers "37" & "38".
