Vol. II "General Correspondence; including pieces of miscellaneous poetry"
Vol. III "Poems formerly published with some additions. To which is added, a history of these poems by Gilbert Burns"
Vol. IV "Correspondence with Mr. George Thomson, including Poetry, hitherto unpublished or collected"

 

Binding: Brown leather on board; gold decoration and contrast-coloured leather on the spine; title, volume and date on the spine; greenish wove end-paper; cream wove paper with speckled edges. Gold decoration on edges of covers on vols III & IV.
