Description:

The Greek lyra (also known as a Cretan lyra) is a pear-shaped 3 stringed musical instrument that is played with a bow. Unlike a violin, it is played sitting vertically on the knee like a viol, rather than under the chin.


The body of this lyra is overlaid with bone and inlaid with ebony and features a central tortoiseshell strip
