Grid share from an old Scotch plough

A grid share for use with an old Scotch plough.    This example once formed part of the collection of the Victorian antiquary Dr Thomas Grierson who had a museum at Thornhill.  Part of his collection was transferred to Dumfries Museum in 1965.
