19th Century
Description:

Large format edition of a novel by Sir J M Barrie, illustrated with 18 etchings. It is bound in blue cloth with faded gilt lettering on the spine.

This is the author's own copy, No 2 of a limited edition of 550 copies, signed by J M Barrie and the illustrator, William Hole.  It was sold at an Elkin Mathews Sale in February 1938 (part of Catalogue No 3), a few months after the author's death.
