Description:

The first German translated edition of  Sir J M Barrie's autobiographical novel. It is bound with grey cloth, with gilt lettering on the cover and spine, and an engraving of an elderly woman on the front cover. 

 

This is the author's own copy, sold at an Elkin Mathews Sale in February 1938 (part of Catalogue No 34), a few months after Barrie's death.
