Description:

A cordoned urn and pygmy cup excavated in 1975 from a cairn on Halferne Farm, Crossmichael Parish. The urn was found inverted over the pygmy cup and a cremation deposit. This type of burial is dated to the Mid Bronze Age, 2nd millennium B.C.
