Cairnderry is a Neolithic chambered cairn of the 'Bargrennan' type, with small separate burial chambers placed within a large circular stone cairn, edged with a kerb of larger stones. cairnderry sits at the centre of the known distribution of Bargrennan cairns, and has three burial chambers with narrow passages, set within a large stone cairn 25m in diameter.
