Cup and Ring Marked Stone, Laggan

Description:

Found in a burn at Laggan Farm near Gatehouse of Fleet. The meaning of these carvings is still not fully understood and much of it is speculation. They are found in significant concentrations in Galloway carved on rock outcrops.
