"The life and Prophecies of Mr Alexander Peden, Late Minister of
the Gospel at New Glenluce in Galloway", published in the early
18th century.
Alexander Peden had a large following amongst the Covenanters in
south west Scotland and was known as the "Prophet of the Covenant".
This small pamphlet telling the story of his life and beliefs would
have been a cherished possession.
