Collin Quoiting Club Medal

"To Collin Quoiting Club from Homer Young. 1907"   During the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries quoiting was popular amongst ordinary working people, and games were played in nearly every town and village in Scotland.  The equipment was simple, consisting of two quoits and a piece of ground.  The ground usually belonged to an inn keeper, who was only too pleased for the extra custom.
